Abstract: Folic acid was synthesized from N-(4-aminobenzoyl)-l-glutamic acid, 2,5,6-triamino-4-hydroxypyrimidine sulfate and trichloroacetone. The effects of the amount of dilute sulfuric acid, the concentration of dilute sulfuric acid and the refining time of dilute sulfuric acid on the content of butterfly acid were studied. The results showed that e concentration of dilute sulfuric acid was 10 times of crude folic acid, the concentration of dilute sulfuric acid was 30% , and the time of refining in dilute sulfuric acid solution was 1 hour, the purity of the target compound was 99.5% , and the content of papillary acid was reduced to 0.18% .
