In order to strengthen the water prevention work of Dongpang Mine, prevent and reduce water damage accidents, and ensure the safety of coal mine workers, according to the "Details of Water Prevention and Control Rules for Coal Mine", the gushing water volume of No. 6 coal seam of Dongpang Mine was predicted through the large shaft method and the geological analogy method. Research showed that the normal water inflow of No. 6 coal seam in this mine was 49 m3 / h, and the maximum water inflow is 77 m3 / h. The mining of No. 6 coal seam was not affected by the water accumulation in the goaf of No. 2 coal in the upper part. Areas with a water burst coefficient of less than 0.06 MPa / m can be safely mined.
