Large-scale mines were generally divided into multiple mining areas for simultaneous mining. In order to ensure the safety of the whole mine, it was necessary to reserve a waterproof gate wall between each mining area. Combined with the actual production of the Fengfeng Group Wutongzhuang Mine, the section, structure form of the sluice wall chamber, the depth of the surrounding rock, the supporting process and the calculation process of the water retaining plate were specified, and corresponding measures were proposed for the specific construction process, which provided a reliable guarantee for the prevention and control of water damage in mines.
