The influence of the process conditions of the thermal decomposition of magnesium bicarbonate solution on the performance of high-active magnesium oxide

Due to the extremely fine particle size and multiple microscopic morphologies, ultrafine high-activity magnesium oxide has many excellent properties. The thermal decomposition process of magnesium bicarbonate solution is of great importance for the preparation of ultrafine active magnesium oxide. The effects of pyrolysis temperature, heating rate, pyrolysis time and other factors on the performance index of the product, hydrated magnesium were investigated in this paper. The main indexes investigated were apparent specific volume, particle size and dispersion state.
