Silicate modified polyurethane material is a new type of organic-inorganic composite material. Because of its high strength mechanical properties of polyurethane materials and excellent flame retardant properties of inorganic materials, it is mainly used to reinforce coal and rock masses in coal mines. In recent years, many new silicate modified polyurethane materials have also been used in coal mine filling, water plugging and air plugging scenarios. The preparation method, mechanical properties and flame retardancy of the material have been greatly optimized. Therefore, the research progress of silicate modified polyurethane composites in recent years was summarized from four aspects: material preparation and performance optimization, microstructure and interface analysis, thermal performance and stability, and application research. The future development direction of silicate modified polyu-rethane materials for mining was prospected.
