Wulihou Coal Industry has entered the lower group of coal mining. The geological environment is complex and the support of the mining roadway is difficult. Based on No.2103 Face belt track as the engineering background, the stability of the surrounding rock of the roadway was analyzed according to the self-stabilizing invisible arch theory. It was found that strengthening the support on both sides of the soft coal seam roadway was conducive to the overall stability of the surrounding rock of the roadway. Based on the distribution of ground stress in the lower coal formation, it was proposed to adopt the combined support technology of anchor nets and cables, and the support parameters were optimized and designed to determine the corresponding support scheme. Practical experience showed that the support effect of the surrounding rock of the roadway was good, the parameter design was reasonable, and it met the requirements for the safe use of the roadway, providing reference significance for roadways under similar conditions.
