Roadway support is the core of safe and stable deep high stress mining tunnels. In response to the unclear failure mechanism and difficulty of support in the deep high stress mining roadway of Jiulong Mine in Fengfeng Mining Area, this paper analyzed the process and mechanism of rock failure in the high stress mining roadway, proposed a deep mining roadway anchor bolt support technology scheme, compared and analyzed different support schemes through numerical simulation, and carried out on-site application of roadway anchor net cable joint support. The results showed that different support schemes had different control effects on the surrounding rock of the roadway. According to the ranking of rock control effects from good to poor, they were as follows: full anchor support (row spacing of 0.8m), full anchor support (row spacing of 1.2m), alternating mixed support of one row of anchor cables and anchor rod intervals, full anchor rods, and alternating support of one row of anchor cables and one row of anchor rods. This study provided a scientific basis for understanding the failure characteristics of high stress mining roadways in coal mines and optimizing support methods.
