In order to ensure the stability of mountain roadway group and surrounding rock of silo roadway in Ⅱ63 mining area, a pressure relief roadway was set in the middle of the stop-line of No.Ⅱ635 Face and silo by using the stress transfer theory through field investigation and analysis. The pre-cracking scheme was designed and the parameters of pre-cracking were optimized to carry out pre-cracking. The practice showed that the pre-cracking effect was good, the advance abatement pressure of the mining face was cut off, and the stability of the mountain roadway group and the surrounding rock of the water bin roadway was guaranteed.
