Abstract:In the process of rock cross-cut coal uncovering in outburst coal seam, due to the soft top coal, large gas content, high pressure and easy to be affected by geological structure, it is very likely to lead to accidents such as roof fall, rib spalling, gas overrun, coal and gas outburst, gas suffocation and so on. During the coal uncovering of No. 8206 transport crosscut in Yangdong Mine, the coal body was reinforced by chemical slurry injection and advanced bolt was installed head-on, which effectively improved the coal body structure, the integrity and bearing capacity of coal body. During the excavation of the coal retaining false roof roadway, the location and shape of the coal seam were mastered by drilling, and the 5 ~ 11 m long anchor cable support was flexibly selected to provide a reliable basis for the anchor cable. The results showed that this measure ensured the strength and stiffness of the roof support during the cross-cut coal uncovering, and realized the rapid, safe and efficient coal uncovering of 8206 cross-cut.
