Abstract：In order to improve the efficiency of rock roadway excavation, Xingdong Coal Mine and Shijiazhuang Coal Machinery Factory developed an efficient comprehensive excavation equipment called drilling and loading anchor unit for coal mine ( hereinafter referred to as ' drilling and loading anchor unit ' ). This equipment integrated rock drilling, support and loading, and was used to excavate rock roadway, and realized the mechanized operation of rock breaking and loading in rock roadway excavation. Compared with the original construction method, it not only improved the construction speed, but also improved the safety of construction. The results showed that the drilling and loading anchor unit improved the construction efficiency and reduced the labor intensity of workers in the rock roadway excavation construction, which could be widely promoted.
