After years of operation, the 4,900 m belt of Tashan Mine with problems such as serious wear of the upper cover rubber and large leakage of rope, which made vicious accidents possible, such as rope bumping and penetration, and needed to be replaced urgently. Tashan mine adopted the continuous belt change technology of crawler traction, and the application effect showed that this technology can achieve efficient and safe belt change, improve the efficiency of belt change, reduce labor intensity, and shorten the belt change cycle by about 10 d, with remarkable economic benefits.
