At present, in the coal production, there is a huge energy waste in the belt transport, so it is very important for reducing the power consumption and mechanical loss in the production transportation ，and reducing staff for greater efficiency through the rational design of the transport control systems. Combined with coal mine site and the needs of mine users, a set of mine belt transport energy management system was designed，used in coal mine production. The system control processes and functions were introduced. It was pointed out that the system could not only ensure the normal operation of the coal mine belt transport system, but also improve the operation efficiency of belt conveyor nearly 35%, save energy 65%, at the same time， had the advantages of high production efficiency, good economic benefits and social benefits, should be worth promoting.
