Abstract：In order to improve the filtering effect of plate-frame filter press, the new dynamic plate-frame filter press in Shaping Coal Preparation Plant was taken as the research object. The three-dimensional model was built by CAD/CAE and imported into FLUENT software. The changes of velocity, pressure and concentration during the filtering operation of the new dynamic plate-frame filter press were studied, and the effects of porosity of filtering medium and particle size of material on the filtering effect of plate-frame filter press were analyzed.
