Abstract: No.9 coal seam in Xinjing Coal Mine is a new mining coal seam. Because the upper 8 coal seam is close to it, and the coal seam mining replacement time is short, the mining roadway of No.9 coal seam will be affected by the upper coal seam mining. In order to avoid the serious deformation and failure of roadway, taking the mining roadway of 9109 working face in Xinjing Coal Mine as the engineering background, combined with the existing T-shaped steel shed support materials in Xinjing Coal Mine, through theoretical analysis, the support methods of the return airway and gas control roadway of 9109 working face at the lower part of goaf No. 8, the lower part of coal pillar and the intersection of shed roadway were proposed. Practice shows that the determined support parameters are reasonable, and the roadway surrounding rock control effect is good during the mining period of 9109 fully mechanized mining face.
