Abstract:In order to solve the damage problem of advancing support in close distance coal seam and based on the engineering background of No.11103 Face of Ciyaogou Mine, the distribution of advance abutment pressure was studied by way of field measurement. The scope and size were greater in No.11103 Face than that close under the mined-out area of coal seam working face. Therefore, the original advanced support scheme was optimized. The original single hydraulic support and I-beam steel were replaced with advanced hydraulic support to support the roof. The results showed that the hydraulic support in advance did not appear obvious roof subsidence phenomenon. On the basis of the quality of on-site support, this method reduced intensity of labor and material consumption, improved the safety of the production process, realized automation, mechanization support, and achieved good supporting effect.
