Abstract：The effective classification of ( ultra ) fine coal slime has always been a weak link in coal preparation production and a difficult point in screening operation in Xingtai Coal Preparation Plant. The application effect of ( ultra ) fine-grained screening equipment tank screen in Xingtai Mine Coal Preparation Plant is analyzed by experiment. At the same time, the screening data of new screening equipment tank screen and traditional separation equipment hydraulic classification cyclone are compared and analyzed. It is known that tank screen has great advantages in screening effect, but the treatment capacity of tank screen is relatively small, and there is a phenomenon of ' running coarse ' under the screen. It is necessary to further optimize the structural parameters of tank screen.
