Based on the difficulty of broken and weak surrounding rock support in deep roadway, roadway in No.82 mining area of Nanfeng expansion area in Wuyang Mine was taken as the engineering background, its failure mechanism under the action of deep complex stress field and creep effect of deep surrounding rock were analyzed. The control countermeasures of broken and weak surrounding rock in deep roadway were explored. The combined control technology of anchor mesh cable shotcreting and steel ladder beam was put forward, and its surrounding rock control mechanism was expounded. The field engineering practice showed that the maximum displacement of roadway roof and two sides were 119.2 mm and 98.6 mm respectively after adopting the combined control technology. The deformation of surrounding rock of roadway was within the controllable range, which realized the effective control of deep broken and weak roadway.
