The coal seam of Xingdong Mine with a large buried depth and high pressure of the ash, after the mining depth exceeded 1 000 m, there was five occurrences of water failure in the working face floor, which had different effects on the mining of the working face, a large amount of water inrush occurred in 2228 working face in 2008, and the peak water volume reached 2 649 m3/h, which had a great impact on mine production and replacement. Although the 2228 working face was excavated before the mining, the comprehensive ground and drilling exploration work was carried out, and the advanced ground bedding branch hole technology was used to detect and control the ash aquifer in the working face, but the ash water still occurred during the mining process. Therefore, it was urgent to carry out research on mine water damage prevention measures under ultra-high pressure water conditions to ensure safe mining of the working face.
