On the basis of collecting the geological data of Liuzhuang Mine and region comprehensively, the geological characteristics of this region was analyzed deeply. The results showed that clay and gravel were the main elements in the red bed and the depth ranged from 0 to 38.43 m as well as the water abundance of the red bed was weak, which all corresponded to the characteristics of red bed in Huainan coal field. The hydrogeological block of Liuzhuang Mine was classified on the basis of the research.
