In order to meet the personnel transportation demand of No.15 coal machine-rail integrated roadway in Kaiyuan Mine of Huayang Group and solve the problem of efficient and safe transportation of underground personnel, the selection and design of overhead passenger device are studied. According to the relevant safety regulations and design specifications of coal mines, combined with the actual parameters such as the installation length, slope and transport capacity of the roadway, the parameter accounting, equipment selection and supporting electrical and roadway engineering design of the fixed cable-type overhead passenger device are carried out, and the key indicators such as traction wire rope tension, drive wheel anti-skid and motor power are checked. The results show that the fixed rope holding device with a running speed of 1.1 m / s and a 55 kW explosion-proof motor is used to run the overhead passenger device on both sides. All performance indexes meet the requirements of on-site transportation and specifications, which provides a reference case for the selection and design of overhead passenger devices in similar mines.
