Dynamic boarding/alighting in aerial passenger device is accident-prone. This paper, with static boarding/alighting device in Yunjialing Mine as an example, introduced the principle, main structure and application of static boarding /alighting device. Practice has shown that the device, after being put into application, has satisfied needs in the mine and guaranteed miners’ safety. In addition, the device operates smoothly and is highly reliable with low maintenance requirement.
