In order to solve the problem of gas overrun that may occur in the 2152G02 working face of Yuenan Coal Industry, the working face is taken as the research object. According to the empirical formula, theoretical analysis and the actual situation of the site, the arrangement position of the long-distance high-level directional drilling is analyzed. The arrangement position should be within the range of the fracture zone, and the height and width of the arrangement should be 18.6-31.3 m and 23-34 m from the track groove. The No.1 and No.2 boreholes outside the fracture zone and the No.3, No.4, No.5 and No.6 boreholes inside the fracture zone are used to form a comparison. The above conclusions are verified according to the actual No.1 to No.6 borehole extraction. The average concentration of borehole gas extraction in the fracture zone is significantly higher than that outside the fracture zone, which verifies the rationality and feasibility of the borehole layout.
