Abstract：In order to improve the safety of endless rope railcar transportation and broaden the adaptability of hydraulic brake tractor, the series design and research of hydraulic brake tractor are carried out. The design of KSP46, KSP49, KSP66, KSP69, KSP96, KSP99 and other models was completed through the design of different body structure of four-wheel / eight-wheel car body, the design of hydraulic brake with different braking force and the design of 600 gauge 900 gauge wheel set frame. The test scheme of brake friction performance and air movement time was designed, and the safety and reliability of the product was obtained by analyzing the test data.
