Study on Overwhelmed Hydraulic Supports in Rock Inclusion Area Large Mining Height Working Face

Aiming to solve the overwhelmed hydraulic supports problems occurred at broken roof area in 8212 fully mechanized working face in Jinhuagong Mine, related mine pressure data and phenomenon were analyzed. Besides, the reasons of the problems were summarized. The hard and difficultly caved roof, largely ranged coal seam thickness and integrity of overlying strata. The other main reason was subjective factor consists of inadequate working resistance, setting load and low face advance speed, which provided a reference for the mine working face safe and effective stoping adjacent guidance.
