Abstract: Based on the Ordovician limestone water outburst accident of No.+800 m horizontal rail transport roadway in Dingsheng Mine, the water outburst mechanism was comprehensively analyzed from the aspects of water outburst situation, water outburst source and water outburst channel. And according to the grouting reconstruction results, the control effect and the feasibility of coal seam mining were evaluated. The research results showed that the reason for this water outburst accident was that the karst fissure confined water of Ordovician Majiagou Formation limestone communicates with the coal measures strata of Upper Carboniferous Taiyuan Formation through the fault zone and poor closed drilling holes. Through the underground curtain grouting reconstruction technology, the water diversion fault connecting the karst fissure confined water of Majiagou Formation limestone and the coal measures strata was closed, and the curtain was formed in the water outburst section, and good engineering effect was achieved.
