Abstract: Belt conveyor is an important equipment in coal mining. It is responsible for coal transportation. It is usually in full power operation for a long time, resulting in energy waste. Taking dtl260 belt conveyor as the research object, an energy-saving control system which can adjust the output power of the conveyor in real time was designed. Firstly, the overall structure design scheme of the energy-saving control system was introduced, then the hardware structure design and software structure design of the control system were introduced. Finally, the functions of the energy-saving control system were debugged, and the hardware and software debugging were normal. The practice showed that the energy-saving control system achieved the design goal and improved the efficiency of belt conveyor.
