Aiming at the problems of high cost of water injection and dust reduction wetting agent and unsatisfactory dust reduction effect, six commonly used wetting agents were selected for compound formulation research, attaining in improving the efficiency of coal seam water injection and dust reduction. Through the determination of surface tension and contact angle of 6 single wetting agents with coal sample of Xindeng No. 二1 coal seam, the compound concentration was determined, and the contact angle, surface tension and dust settling time of the compound solution were tested, and finally the effect of water injection and dust reduction was verified through field test in the coal seam. From the effect, the water injection and dust reduction efficiency were significantly improved by using the compound formulation for coal seam water injection.
