Groundwater from the roof aquifer of the Tongelang mining field was mainly stored in the pore-microfissure, and the water mainly went into the working surface by the mining fissure. The calculation of the volume of mine surges in the pre-excavation section and the first working surface of the mining field was carried out with the dynamic-static method, and the results were more consistent with those of the comparative method.
