In order to solve the problem of excessive deformation of the 2-216 transportation roadway in Xinzhi Mine under the influence of faults, research was carried out by methods such as underground pressure observation, peeping and theoretical analysis. Under the original support scheme, the critical failure depth of the surrounding rock of the roadway was 2.32 m. Based on this, the support parameters of the 2-216 transportation were optimized. The field application and monitoring results of the surrounding rock displacement showed that during the 15 d monitoring period, the relative approach of the top and bottom plates was approximately 191 mm, and the approach of the two sides was approximately 162 mm. The displacement was small. The deformation of the surrounding rock of the roadway was controlled within a reasonable range, which guaranteed the safe and efficient production of the working face.
