In order to solve the problem that the direct thickness and hardness of the working face in Zhuangwang Coal Mine were too large, the working face would be severely deformed during the first pressure and periodic pressure of the working face, the roof strength would be weakened by the hydraulic fracturing technology, and so would the hard roof. The stratified treatment was carried out, and the height of the crack in the roof was about 15 m, the height of the hydraulic fracturing was determined to be 15 m. According to the variation law of the system, the spacing of the holes was determined to be 15 m. After the stratified treatment of the hydraulic fracturing, the working resistance of the working face hydraulic support and the cycle step were monitored, indicating that the roof hydraulic pressure cracking weakening control technology achieved good control effect. The research results were of great significance to the safe and efficient production of mines and the reduction of roadway maintenance and repair costs.
