Based on large area hanging arch caused by open-off cuts of hard roof in fully mechanized N1303 working face of Gucheng Mine, a site measuring method and theoretical analysis were used to study deep hole presplitting blasting weakening roof technology in fully mechanized coal mining face. Technical parameters of weakening roof height, spacing in drilling, deep angle and depth, which provided reference to application of roof pre-splitting blasting technology under the similar condition.
