Gucheng Mine working face roof were influenced by the upper K8 fissure water, the phenomenon of roof caving was analyzed, by using the method of grouting to advance grouting reinforcement of roof, according to the design of grouting parameters, grouting process, combined with practical engineering effect, the roof surrounding rock characteristics before and after grouting were compared. The analysis showed that when the roof rock under water easy to soften, adopting reasonable advance grouting reinforcement can effectively solve the problem of roof rain water, roof caving, played a good block in the upper water effect, greatly enhanced physical properties of roof rock, ensured sufficient stability in mine roadway.
