Combined with Wangzhuang Mine large mining height, 3 DEC numerical simulation software was adopted, horizontal displacement of support working resistance and coal wall, roof subsidence relationship of these two kinds of working face and its near the main damage form of coal were studied. The results showed that Wangzhuang Mine coal wall rib spalling influence was mainly in the coal wall within 4 m, the reasonable supporting strength was 1.2 MPa. When Support resistance was 1.2 MPa, along with the increase of supporting strength, the sink of the horizontal displacement coal wall and roof were significantly reduced. When the support strength was greater than 1.2 MPa, roof subsidence along with support strength gradually weakened, and gradually tended to a stable value. Near the working face coal damage prevention advice was put forward, the results of the study had reference significance for similar mining under the condition of large mining height.
