Based on the isolated working face mining recovery layout and support, different narrow coal pillar width was analyzed by numerical simulation, the peak stress moved form the central coal pillar to two sides after roadway layout, the stress distribution shape evolved from bell to hump, coefficient of stress concentration dropped. The reliability of roadway with 4 m width narrow coal pillar was superior to 3 m coal pillar, the coal pillar stress rose with more than 4 m coal pillar width, with 4 m width coal pillar the most reasonable. The anchor net support parameters were set based on the surrounding rock in recovery mining roadway, the result showed that the roadway went stable in two months, with good control effect.
