To optimize the ultrasonic extraction process of total flavonoids in abelmoschus manihot, on the basis of single factor, the volume fraction of ethanol, extraction temperature, extraction time and material liquid ratio were optimized by response surface methodology. The results show that the extraction temperature is 31.97 ℃, extraction time was 35.92 min, the concentration of ethanol ( ethanol and distilled water ) is 50.56%, the ratio of material-liquid is 1∶21.22, the highest extraction rate of total flavonoids of abelmoschus manihot is 50.52%
