Fault monitoring of belt conveyor was briefly introduced, monitoring methods of wandering, skid, and tear fault detection were put forward. Intelligent protection system which not only displayed fault type and fault point location but achieved real-time monitoring on belt conveyor working state, was of great significance for ensuring safety production and improving production efficiency of enterprises.
