In order to deterimine rational supporting and protecting system in 121101 working face of a Shanxi mine, spacing between bolt supports in roadways was determined as 1.2m through testing and numerical simulation of mechanical parameters of surrounding rock. The mine pressure observation showed that during extraction period, the maximum displacement of two columns in roadway was 38 mm, the maximum of top and bottom was 19 mm, and the pretension of roadway bolts was about 40 kN, which showed that force of anchor bolt increased gradually under influence of dynamic pressure in roadway driving. As a result, this supporting system controlled stability of surrounding rock effectively and had achieved expected supporting effect.
