Scraper conveyer was an indispensable equipment in mining technology process,whether it could operate in time according to job demands directly affect production efficiency. Based on analyzing workinig principles of scraper conveyer and problems in starting process in this paper, the method of soft start through transducer control was put forward, which taking 80C196MC single chip as core and  adopting insulated gate bipolar transistor driver module. On the basis of keeping constant torque characteristic of electromotor, trim control in starting process of scraper conveyer was guaranteed, its impact to equipment was decreased, which realized reliability and security of scraper conveyer in production process.
