Based on large quantity of holders, high roof pressure,fast roadway deformation and difficult roof support after dismantling support of 21111 fully mechanized working face in Dongpang Mine,we took some measures which including studying 6.3m empty top range of effective supporting design and application of hydraulic removal platform, the platform combined with chute for loading transition, updating and optimizing sealing process, etc. As a result, safe and efficient fast removing support of fully mechanized working face was achieved, equipment moving time in fully mechanized working was shortened and rate of mining area in probability and fully mechanized equipment were increased, which had good economic and social benefits.
