Application of gas drainage technology of goaf in Linnancang Mine

Based on tests of high drilling and buried pipe drainage in 11192 working face of 11 coal seam in east wing of Linnancang Mine, drainage effects were tested and analyzed respectively, which had applied and popularized to the whole mine according to different characteristics of working face. The practice showed that high position bores methane drainage technique made a difference in controlling gas in the upper corners of working face and gas drainage effect dropped significantly when length of pipes were buried over 50 meters, which could be well used to gas control in coal face which could not be suffused with the breakage of direct top.
