Based on characteristic analysis and development of filling technique and industrial residue in Jilin area, it was pointed that feasibility of using granulated blast-furnace slag, flue gas desulfurization gypsum, cement clinker and admixture as binding material, mixed materials which were composite with gold powder, ash from power plant and iron ore backfilling as aggregate to underground filling in gold mine. Effect of chemical component of raw material to filling performance was analyzed, and superiority of using industrial residue to make filling material was proved by strength contrasting of industrial residue filling materials and cement placement filling materials.
