Coal roadway was the main roadway serving stope face. In order to improve the safety of coal roadway environment and roadway excavation efficiency and reduce the cost of roadway digging, this paper, supporting technology, equipment and other aspects that affected the efficiency of coal roadway factors were analyzed and summarized, the paper proposed research excavating mechanized face end support machine. Studying the end of coal roadway surrounding rock properties support nature, temporary support adaptability and heading machines and temporary support structure to evaluate supporting effect. The use of alternate moving circulating roadway support method proposed new support equipment design, research equipment of the structure, optimized it and achieved roadway excavation machine high efficiency and high quality.
