Based on the management of temporary empty top area, 21603 working face of Chensilou Mine was taken as the example, temporary support was classified, the two temporary support was summarized, temporary support of different ways of supporting materials, layout, construction techniques, safety precautions etc. were studied, which provided a good reference for temporary support under similar conditions.
