Crossing high gas strata was constantly encountered in vertical shaft construction. The traditional method to solve this problem was to adopt the drainage or drilling relief release, which not only long time dealing with the gas, but also getting poor gas drainage influenced by shaft hydrops. Shanxi Hongxia First Construction Corporation adopted K3 high pressure grouting permeability fractured curing blocking gas in shaft construction. The process was simple, with processing gas in short time, providing a new way for the vertical shaft crossing the high gas.
