Based on rib spalling, water spraying and high cost of roadway support in 12654 working face mining of Sunzhuang Mine, the reason was analyzed, the reasonable construction was set up and applied on the site, the reasonable coal column, roadway transformation and support parameter of roof avoided rib spalling and water spraying, reduced support cost, realized successful mining of 12654 roadway up and down roadway, achieved the expected result and safe production.
