The oxidation reaction of coal relates to water and oxygen uptake of coal.Water is needed when coal was oxidized,so the higher the water content in the coal is a certain range, the greater the porosity of coal is the higher oxygen uptake is.With GB/T20104—2006 ‘Spontaneous combustion tendency of coal by oxygen identification method’ and ZRJ-1 coal spontaneous combustion tester, the influence factors of drying degree of test samples on determination results of coal spontaneous combustion tendency were explored, and the corresponding improvement measures were put forward.
