In view of the complex formation characteristics of ' one thick and many thin strata ' in Panhe block, this paper took PH55-11BX1 well as an example to carry out the research on drilling, completion and logging evaluation technology of coalbed methane directional well. The natural gamma-compensated density(GR-DEN) two-parameter quantitative discriminant criterion was constructed, which effectively eliminated the boundary effect of thin coal seam logging. The gas evaluation and productivity potential index ( PPI ) calculation model based on density was established, which confirmed the high development value of No.3 and No.15 coal seams. In addition, the casing program of ' second spud-in orientation, casing running in the whole well section ' and the low solid polymer drilling fluid system were used in the project, which successfully realized the precise trajectory control and low permeability reservoir protection. This study provides key technical support for the collaborative development of thin and thick coal seams in this block.
