Study on the development characteristics of roof water conduction fracture zone in No.1502 Face of Shaozhai Coal Mine

The development characteristics of roof water conduction fracture zone in No.1502 Face of Shaozhai Coal Mine were studied. Based on the regression analysis method, a prediction model for the height of water conduction fracture zone in Jurassic coal seam mining was established, and it was verified by FLAC3D numerical simulation software and drilling hole double-end plugging measurement. The results showed that the height of the water conduction fracture zone by regression analysis was 129.17 m, the simulated height was 137 m, the measured height of the double-end plugging of the drilling hole was 131.4 m, and the shape of the water conduction fracture zone was 'flat arch'. The research results provided scientific data for the safe mining of No.1502 Face in Shaozhai Coal Mine, and also provided experience for the reasonable prediction and safe production of roof fracture zone height in similar mines.
