In view of the problems of stress concentration in the cross section of the rod body and frequent jamming caused by the joint telescopic part during the turning of the traditional pneumatic monorail crane square pipe telescopic rod used in the north well of Dongpang Coal Mine, an innovative solution is designed through three structural iterations. In the process, 360 kN tensile test and test field passing test analysis and comparison are carried out respectively. Finally, it is proved that the design can take into account the strength and flexibility of the traditional structure, and realize the structural optimization of the underground transportation equipment used under complex working conditions.
