In order to improve research development and application of pneumatic monorail and mine auxiliary transportation level at home, present situation and development of pneumatic monorail at home and abroad was introduced and analyzed. The result showed that pneumatic monorail is with the advantages like good flexibility, good adaptability to roadway deformation, easy construction of blast resistant construction and low cost, without electric shock hazard, with broad application prospect.
